Pastor's Ministry-Rev. Dr. Monroe Smith

The church must endeavor to promote a spiritual and wholesome atmosphere to "the whosoever will" through the proclamation of the gospel, through training, prayer and our witness.

Deacon Ministry- Deacon Harry Graves Chairman

To assist the Pastor with counseling and teaching. Communicate God's Word through evangelism and visiting the sick and shut in. We are partners in carrying the mission and mandates of the church.

Deaconess Ministry- Deaconess Harriet Thurston President

Our goal is to serve the Lord in assisting the Pastor in developing and maintaining the spiritual growth of the church and its members. Visit the sick and those in need as well as preparation of communion.

Trustees Ministry- Allen Jennings Chairman

Our goal is to serve the Lord and the church in ministering as stewards of financial matters and maintaining the church building.

Music Ministry -Musicians Collectively

Our goal is to serve the Lord in ushering the church congregation into the presence of the Lord with songs, instruments, and voices of praise.

Ushers ministry- Sis Lucy Harris President

To serve as official doorkeepers of the church. The Ushers ministry strives to provide an important first impression of our church congregation and help set the atmosphere for worship.

Bible Study

We offer daytime Bible study during the week, with low impact exercise. Discover God's word and grow in your faith with us. Seasonal sessions TBD.

Community Outreach

At Mount Hope Baptist Church, we believe in serving our community and sharing God's love with those around us. Join us for outreach events and service opportunities throughout the year.

Strands of Pearls- Women's Ministry

Our ministry serves to empower young and seasoned ladies of Mount Hope and our community with programs, teachings, and fellowship. To learn through the Word of God- "The worth of a woman and the power of unity".

Pastor's Aid Ministry- Deaconess Sharon White President

This ministry offers support as a spiritual, emotional, and basic service needs of the Pastor. Pastor's aid assists the Pastor during and beyond the morning worship service.

Media Ministry-Deaconess Harriet Thurston Coordinator

The media ministry serves in the capacity of providing audio recordings of the service and preparation for sound system. We strive to assist in highlighting God's word through various forms of media.

Sunday School

Join us each Sunday morning at 10:00 am where we come together to edify one another in studying God's Word.
