Our Mission
At Mount Hope Baptist Church, our mission is to create a welcoming and inviting community where all are encouraged to experience the transformative power of faith. We seek ways to carry out the work of Jesus Christ and the Great Commission- in sharing the Gospel. This is a major goal of the church. "Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost; teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you..." Matthew 28:19-20

Upcoming Events
MHBC will celebrate Holy week 2026 on Wednesday night -April 1, at 7:00 pm. Rev. Carter and the St. James Baptist Church will serve as our guest.
The MHBC Men's choir will render the music at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, Barboursville, VA on Sunday April 19 at 2:00 pm for their Missionary program.
